According to the Energy Regulatory Office, in the fourth quarter of 2021, the average price of electricity sold by generators under bilateral contracts (concluded on the OTC market) was PLN 322.58 / MWh. This means a 30% increase compared to the price for the same quarter last year. In addition, the value of PLN 75 / MWh is also the highest historical price jump in the fourth quarter over the last 11 years.

The total volume of energy in the offers included in the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to almost 8.2 TWh and was the lowest in 11 years.
