The draft amendment to the Energy Efficiency Act has been agreed

A draft amendment to the Energy Efficiency Act was sent to the Committee for European Affairs, which was agreed. The regulations propose that those introducing fuels to the market should be obliged to achieve final energy savings determined for each year. In addition, the catalog of projects covered by the system of energy efficiency certificates was extended to include the replacement or modernization of road or rail vehicles, or the reduction of network losses in the distribution of liquid fuels. The modernization or repair of network equipment in networks for transmitting electricity, heat or cooling has also been added.
