„This week, the draft amendments to the bill were amended to cover two very important issues, including the extension of the definition of a prosumer to include an entrepreneur. (…) Next week, the amendment of the RES Act becomes available on the Permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers”- announced Piotr Woźny for the Clean Air Programme.

The project will assume that entrepreneurs will be added to the existing catalogue of prosumers so that they can “use the discount system (a cashless method of accounting for electricity collected by the prosumer and produced in micro installations), which has been the driving force behind the development of prosumer photovoltaics for the last two years” and a significant amendment will concern the issuance of an executive regulation, whose task will be to regulate the prosumer principle by distribution network operators. The Regulation will be issued by the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Economy, who will oversee the entire process of prospectus service.
