Waldemar Buda became the new Minister of Development. President Andrzej Duda handed him the appointment. He replaced the dismissed Piotr Nowak.
“President Andrzej Duda, at the request of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, appointed Waldemar Buda to the position of Minister of Development and Technology,” informed the Prime Minister’s Chancellery. Thus, the two-week period in which, although publicly dismissed, the ministry was headed by Piotr Nowak, ends.

From November 2019, Waldemar Buda was the deputy minister of funds and regional policy. Previously, from June 2019, he was the deputy minister at the Ministry of Investment and Development. Since July 2019, Buda is also the government’s plenipotentiary for public-private partnerships.
