According to the Rzeczpospolita.pl portal, the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are to negotiate with representatives of the Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe party. The condition for supporting the changes in the draft amendment to the act on investments in wind farms (700 meters instead of 500) are further amendments resulting in an increase in the individual benefits of residents of communes located in the immediate vicinity of a wind farm. The PSL also proposes to leave the possibility of returning to a minimum distance of 500 meters, based on a local referendum. Alternatively, the minimum distance from buildings is not to be defined in the Act, but only on the basis of the technical parameters of a given device.
