Summary of ERO activities in 2022

The past year was exceptional for the sector regulator in many areas, but also difficult. Due to the war in Ukraine, which resulted in, among others, rising energy prices, as well as due to the continuous recovery of economies after the pandemic, 2022 is primarily an unprecedented dynamics of change. The uncertain situation on the global market increased the risk of restrictions in the supply of raw materials. Therefore, energy sector companies had to face unpredictability, uncertainty and risk resulting from the changing geopolitical situation – concludes 2022 President of the Energy Regulatory Office Rafał Gawin.
