According to the declaration of the Government Plenipotentiary for Renewable Energy Ireneusz Zyska, auctions for renewable energy installations will continue in the next years, and thus the maximum period for granting public aid under the auction system will be extended until June 2026, i.e. by five years.
The condition for extending the auction system is obtaining a positive decision of the European Commission on the compatibility of such public aid with the internal market or recognition by the European Commission that the amendment does not constitute new public aid.
