The Ministry of Climate and Environment has published a reminder about the entry into force of a new solution consisting in the valuable settlement of energy produced by a prosumer based on the value of energy determined ultimately according to the price from the Day-Ahead Market (DAM), i.e. net-billing. It will only apply to prosumers who will be in the system from April 1 this year.

The existing prosumers and those who submit a complete and correct application to the Distribution Network Operator (DSO) for connecting the micro-installations to the network by March 31, 2022, will remain in the discount system and will be able to use it for the next 15 years. The Ministry of Climate and Environment also reminds that in the case of the expansion of a photovoltaic installation existing before April 1, 2022, the settlement system applicable to the prosumer is the discount system.
