The Energy Regulatory Office published a communication in which it informs about the update of the application form for issuing a guarantee of origin in connection with the entry into force of the Act of 19 July 2019 on the amendment to the Act on renewable energy sources and certain other acts.

Pursuant to the amendment, the application for issuing a guarantee of origin must contain the estimated value of avoided greenhouse gas emissions in connection with the production and introduction into the grid of electricity generated from renewable energy sources in renewable energy installations.

Detailed information on how to determine this amount is included in the Notes and explanations to the application (footnote 8 and footnote 9) and refer to the emission benchmarks published by the National Center for Emissions Management.
