The Ministry of Climate and Environment has not yet released official information on the assumptions of the third edition of the Mój Prąd subsidy program for prosumers, which investors are waiting for. The Ministry of Climate, however, reassures that the new edition of the program will certainly be announced, and the delay in its implementation is due to work on building the largest possible budget.
At the moment it is known that the ministry and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management want the funding to be available in Mój Prąd 3.0 not only for the photovoltaic itself, but also for devices that will increase the self-consumption of energy produced from PV.
“We want to build an attractive financing model, and for this we need a large budget. If it is prepared within 2-3 months, the call for applications will be announced by the middle of the year” said Ireneusz Zyska, added the government plenipotentiary for renewable energy sources. “The program will be differently profiled to solve problems with photovoltaic production peaks. This requires solutions both at the level of households and distribution system operators to maintain the upward trend in RES in Poland”.
