As announced by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, the fourth RES auctions held in November remained unresolved. It was intended for new installations using only non-agricultural biogas, as well as for installations using biomass with a capacity of no more than 1 MW. The amount of energy that could be sold during this auction was 0.37 TWh, and its value oscillated around PLN 167 million. The auction was not awarded because not enough bidders came forward. Pursuant to the Act on RES, the auction is adjudicated if at least three valid bids that meet the requirements specified in the Act have been submitted.
