The Government Legislation Center received draft regulations regarding the value of the guaranteed premium, the maximum value of the cogeneration bonus and the individual cogeneration bonus in 2021. As specified in the draft regulation of the Minister of Climate, the maximum amount of electricity from high-efficiency cogeneration, the sale of which may be covered by the cogeneration bonus, is 18 000,000 MWh. Detailed amounts for other units were given later in the project.
The Ministry of Climate estimates that the regulation will affect the investment decisions of approximately 2,800 local government units, as well as several hundred heating companies and 268 operators of existing cogeneration units.
The regulations will enter into force 14 days after their publication.
