The Ministry of Climate will take over the RES regulation area

Climate Minister Michał Kurtyka in an interview with PAP declared that the ministry he headed would cover the area related to renewable energy regulations.

One of the key elements to be dealt with by the resort is the development of offshore wind energy. Determining the priorities for the ministry’s activities is to take place after carrying out an “inventory”. The ministry will focus, among others, on reducing emissions, promoting RES among households, developing the “My Current” program and introducing changes to the “Clean Air” program.

According to press reports, the area of renewable energy at the Ministry of Climate and overseeing the work of the Renewable and Distributed Energy Department, which worked on RES regulations at the Ministry of Energy, can be dealt with by Ireneusz Zyska, who last week was nominated as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate.
