At yesterday’s conference, organized by PGE in Krynica Zdrój, the topics of innovation in the power industry, energy storage facilities and electromobility were discussed.

During her speech, the Minister pointed out that energy, the defence sector and medicine are the three areas in which spending on research and development is the largest in the world.

Emilewicz reminded that 80% of the domestic energy mix is based on coal and in this area the Polish sector needs changes. The four innovative areas which, in her opinion, are the most important in the energy sector are the development of prosumer energy, the development of green/renewable technology, energy storage and electromobility.
