ME: consultation of the action plan for cross-border capacities

  • Reading time:2 mins read

Ministry of Energy, November 14 this year submitted for consultation draft action plan, whose purpose is to implement the obligation to provide cross-border transmission capacity to market participants at a level not lower than 70%

The action plan was prepared for a synchronous profile, i.e. cross-border connections with the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia, and for an asynchronous connection with Sweden. However, it does not apply to the Poland – Lithuania interconnection, for which, due to international obligations, the 70% target is to be implemented from the beginning of January 2020.

The Action Plan draft consists of:

  1. The main document – the Action Plan draft;
  2. Annex 1 – Methodologies for determining linear trajectories;
  3. Annex 2 – Lists of linear trajectories.

Comments on documents can be submitted to November 29, 2019 only by electronic means to the address plan.działania@me.gov.pl.
