According to the information provided by the Polish Power Exchange, applications for this year’s, 6th edition of the Platinum Megawatt Competition for the media can be submitted by May 29. The Competition will award publications on the electricity, gas and renewable energy markets that appeared in the media in 2019.
The Honorary Patronage over the 6th edition of the Competition was: the Minister of State Assets, the Minister of Climate and the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. TAURON Polska Energia S.A., GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A., PKN Orlen S.A., and Izba Rozliczeniowa Giełd Towarowych S.A. became the partners of the Competition. and TRMEW Obrót S.A.
Publications on the electricity, gas and renewable energy sources market in Poland may be submitted to the Competition, which appeared in the media from January 1 to December 31, 2019. Materials may be submitted by journalists who are the authors of publications and editorial colleges from broadly understood media: press, television stations, radio stations and professional internet editorial offices. In addition, publications for the Competition are also submitted by Chapter Members and TGE Members.
The jury of the Competition, which includes representatives of Partners and Patrons of the event, will assess the submitted materials in terms of, among others, information value, substantive correctness and journalistic and educational values.
