Eco Journalist – a competition organized by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management

According to the information published on the website of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management – clean air, renewable energy sources and waste management – these are the topics of television, radio, press and internet publications, for which the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will appreciate journalists in the fourth installment of its annual competition. 30,000 to win PLN for the most interesting materials published between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. The deadline for submissions is August 30 this year.

“NFOŚiGW Award – Eco Journalist” is a nationwide competition, under the auspices of the Association of Polish Journalists, established in 2017. In this year’s fourth edition, the National Fund will distinguish publications and honor journalists who popularize the media in topics such as:

  • Clean air (including publications about the “Clean Air” program and broadly understood fight against smog),
  • Renewable energy sources (including publications on the program ‘Mój Prąd’, district heating and geothermal energy),
  • Waste management (including publications on waste management systems and their removal and reclamation of degraded areas).

The competition is addressed to journalists of all types of media: both printed and electronic, nationwide and regional. The condition of participation is publication between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020.
