Their installed capacity is over 5,900 MW, which is about 65 percent. installed capacity in all types of renewable energy installations working in Poland.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 160\nfurther wind installations are under construction, with total installed\ncapacity of approximately 2,500 MW. For comparison, the capacity installed in\nthe entire power system in Poland in 2019 amounted to almost 47,000 MW. The\namount of energy produced from wind sources and introduced into the Polish\npower system is also systematically increasing. Last year, installations using\nwind energy produced 13.903 GWh of energy compared to 11.678 GWh in 2018. Wind\nenergy accounted for about 8.2 percent. energy consumed in the country in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support for\nwind energy &#8211; the beneficiaries of the auction support system for renewable\nenergy production that has been operating in Poland for over five years are\nmainly producers of wind and solar energy. The results of the auctions decided\nso far by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (in 2016-2019) should\ntranslate into the creation of approx. 3.4 GW of new wind energy capacities.\nAnd the increase in energy production from the auction system is an important\nmechanism to fulfill the renewable energy target assumed for Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With\nreference to the assumptions of the National Energy and Climate Plan for\n2021-2030, the share of energy from renewable sources in the national mix is\n\u200b\u200bto increase evenly: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>15% in 2020<\/li><li>17.6% in 2025<\/li><li>21% in 2030 <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Offshore\nwind farms are expected to contribute to this goal in five years.
