On the same day, during the sitting of the Sejm, the first reading took\nplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project concerns the introduction of several dozen solutions\nensuring counteracting negative socio-economic effects as well as regulations\nsupporting particular social groups in the face of epidemics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>April 8 this year the second and third reading of the bill took\nplace. After voting, the draft was adopted. According to information provided\nby the Sejm, work on the bill has not yet been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sejm.gov.pl\/Sejm9.nsf\/PrzebiegProc.xsp?id=8B153371EC582A6BC12585430047D9AA\">Current project status<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the draft of the act:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Amendments to the Act of 20 February 2015 on renewable energy\nsources. The proposed amendment in the area is key from the point of view of\ninvestment in renewable energy sources. The extension of the grid connection\nagreements where the deadline for the first supply of electricity to the grid\nfalls before 30 June 2022 is necessary for the further implementation of\ninvestments that won the auctions in 2018 and 2019 and which are implemented\noutside the system auction<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposed changes concern, among others<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Extension by 12 months of periods\nup to which network connection agreements can be extended, in accordance with\nart. 184d paragraph 1 of the RES Act<\/li><li>Article 49 of the draft presents\nthe proposed changes to the Act on renewable energy of 2015.<\/li><li>Article 80 refers to auctions\nannounced, organized and conducted by the President of the Energy Regulatory\nOffice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the justification for the proposed changes we read :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The introduction of the provision in the proposed wording gives\ninvestors greater certainty as to the possibility of implementing their\ninvestments by limiting the risk associated with connecting these installations\nto the network.
