According to the Polish Power Exchange in the communiqu\u00e9 regarding energy trading in March this year, this month (…) brought record-breaking turnover in guarantees of origin for electricity generated in RES.<\/em><\/span><\/span> They amounted to 5,869,565 MWh, which is an increase of 18.7 percent.<\/span><\/span> compared to March 2022 and by 11.1 percent.<\/span><\/span> compared to December 2022, when the previous record of monthly turnover of these guarantees was recorded (5,283,285 MWh).<\/span><\/span> <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The volume of electricity traded on TGE in March 2023 amounted to 12,788,419 MWh, which means a decrease by 7.7%.<\/span><\/span> compared to March 2022. The volume-weighted average price on the DAM was in March this year.<\/span><\/span> PLN 577.87\/MWh, a decrease of PLN 97.61\/MWh compared to the previous month.<\/span><\/span> On RTPE, the weighted average price of an annual contract with baseload delivery in 2024 (BASE_Y-24) was PLN 738.65\/MWh in March 2023, which is a decrease of PLN 68.46\/MWh compared to the corresponding price of this contract in February this year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
