According to the Rzeczpospolita daily, the first companies want to “take legal steps” against the fee on the margins of energy companies.<\/span><\/span> The fee, which is the basis for freezing energy prices, hurts the representatives of the renewable energy industry the most.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 EDPR is of the opinion that the proposed fee mechanism for the so-called<\/span><\/span> Excess profits is not in line with the EU Council regulation because it ignores the existence of financial safeguards that producers could have used to protect their cash flow, long-term revenues and to eliminate the impact of electricity price volatility on the company’s results.<\/span><\/span> As a result, companies will pay as if they are benefiting from current market prices when they are not, the company argues.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
