The European Commission has published a draft regulation<\/a>, providing, inter alia,<\/span><\/span> the maximum limit of the producers’ income from installations with low energy production costs, such as renewable energy sources, amounting to 180 EUR \/ MWh on the wholesale energy market.<\/span><\/span> The sale of energy for a price in excess of the amount will be charged 100 percent.<\/span><\/span> tax.<\/span><\/span> The Commission also wants a mandatory 5 percent.<\/span><\/span> peak hour energy savings and taxation of windfall profits of oil companies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
