The Minister of Climate on September 17 this year. approved the regulations of this year’s auctions for the sale of electricity generated in RES installations established by the President of ERO. It defines the detailed rules for the organization of the auction, such as the procedure for submitting bids as well as the course and method of resolving the auction.
A schedule of auctions for 2020 has also been agreed, which will be held between November 3 and December 3, 2020.
In accordance with the auction schedule for 2020 agreed with the Minister of Climate, the President of the ERO will conduct eight auctions. The first one, as scheduled, will take place on November 3. This is the only auction intended this year for “existing” installations and was dedicated to those that use only agricultural biogas, including high-efficiency cogeneration, with an installed electrical capacity of more than 1 MW.
The last auctions are planned in baskets which are traditionally the most popular, i.e. for large wind and photovoltaic installations – which will be carried out on November 26 this year. and for small wind and photovoltaic installations – the auction will take place on December 3 this year.
