By the end of March each year, the regulator publishes average electricity sales prices on the competitive market: for the fourth quarter of the previous year, for the entire year, and average prices for household consumers.
In 2021, the average annual energy sales price on the competitive market was PLN 278.08 / MWh. A clear increase in prices has been visible since 2017.
The average selling price of energy on the competitive market in the last quarter of 2021 recorded even greater dynamics, because since 2017 it has increased by almost 100%. reaching the level of PLN 325.26 / MWh in the last quarter of 2021.
In 2021, the average price of electricity for household consumers was PLN 0.5947 / kWh (PLN 594.7 / MWh). After a slight decline in 2019, prices for households increased by more than 20%.
