November 19 this year, Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. (TGE) launched the cross-border SIDC market in the XBID model, which connects domestic Electricity Intraday Markets within the European Union and enables continuous cross-border trade between entities in most European countries.
Poland is one of the seven countries that joined the SIDC in the second implementation wave. The third implementation stage for new members is scheduled for 2020.
Financial service for the Intraday Market operated by TGE in the SIDC model will be provided by the Commodity Clearing House. (IRGiT).
