The draft regulation of the Council of Ministers on the adoption of a spatial development plan for internal sea waters, territorial sea and exclusive economic zone on a scale of 1: 200,000 prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure was included in the list of legislative and program works of the Council of Ministers.
In line with the essence of the solutions included in the draft, it was indicated that the Plan includes valid permits for the construction and use of artificial islands, structures and devices in Polish sea areas, as well as permits for laying and maintaining submarine cables and pipelines in internal and territorial sea provisions of this act.
The text part of the Plan includes the location of the boundaries of the zones closed to shipping and fishing and the description of periodically announced zones dangerous to shipping and fishing, established for the purposes of national defense or security. The planned date of adoption of the draft in question is Q1 2021.
