The volume of electricity trading on TGE in January 2020 amounted to 14 030 959 MWh, which means an increase of 61.2 percent. compared to January 2019. The forward market recorded a 95.3 percent increase. The total volume of trading in property rights for electricity generated in renewable energy in January was 2 006 551 MWh. Thus, the volume decreased y / y by 16.8%. Trade in property rights for energy efficiency increased by 124.7% in January. y / y, reaching a volume of 48,729 toe. Trade in Guarantees of Origin for electricity generated in renewable energy amounted to 1 340 825 MWh, which means a decrease by 13.2% y / y.
Trade in Guarantees of Origin for electricity generated in RES decreased in January by 13.2 percent y / y, to a volume of 1 340 825 MWh. The weighted average price was PLN 0.92 / MWh, which is a decrease of PLN 0.05 / MWh compared to December 2019.
At the end of January this year 77 companies had the status of a member on the Commodity Market (RTG). In the Register of Certificates of Origin kept by the Polish Power Exchange as at 31 January 2020, 3892 entities were members of the register. Currently 639 entities have the status of a member of the Guarantees of Origin Register.
